General Information

Design Work:

We do not charge for design development. A copy of the finished artwork is sent for you to check before confirming your order.

Payment:

Once you decide to go ahead with your order we will send you an order confirmation, which will contain payment details. we accept payment via direct transfer, paypal or by cheque.

VAT:

We do not charge VAT.
Postage:

We charge a basic fee to cover postage and packaging. Orders made with the UK are sent via 1st class royal mail. Orders outside of the UK are sent via Royal Mail Airmail service 3-7days.
Communications: Emails (sent to info@bdprints.com) are our main form of communication allowing us to quickly respond with quotes, and design proofs etc. We no longer give out our telephone number on the website. This is due to the number of sales calls we where receiving and most customers prefer to email, but if you do need to speak to us, just send an email with your phone number and we'll get in touch. We will usually respond to emails within 24hours.

 

 

printed badges

These are excellent for small orders

 Quantities:

You can have these badges in any quantity required but there is a minimum charge of £30 per badge design.

Shape/Size:

Printed badges can only be made as squares, rectangles and circles. See price list for a list of popular sizes

Production time: Badges can usualy be made within a week of order being confirmed.

Production process:

All printed badges are made in the UK via a digital process. i.e. the design is transfered on to the fabric then the badges are overlocked (sown) around their edge.

Badge Colours:

Because printed badges are made via a digital process we do not charge per colour, and any colours are available apart from gold silver and bronze. This also means that printed badges can have photographs on them.

Overlocking (Sown Edging):

We keep a large stock of colours for overlocking: black, white, light blue violet, lilac, light blue, lotus blue (air force blue), dark safire (royal blue), navy blue, dark leaf green, cream, citron yellow, lemon yellow, light golden yellow, orange, scarlet red, dark ruby and coffee brown.Small orders of 1-25 are only done with black overlocking this can be altered at extra cost.

Samples:

We always aim to produce just a few extra prints than your requirements to save as samples, if you object to this in any way please let us know when you place your order.

woven badges

These are excellent for large orders

Quantities:

You need to be ordering at least 100.

Shape size:

Pretty much any shape or size within reason.

Production Time:

Badges take 2 to 4 weeks from order being confirmed to be made.

Production Process:

Woven badges are machine made hence minimum orders of 100.

Badge Colours:

You will be charged per colour used. These badges are not best suited to photographs.

Merrow Border (sown edging) :

Available in most colours.

Price list: Please send an email to receive a quote as prices vary depending on Colours, design, quantity and size of patch. Woven badges are usualy cheaper than printed badges if ordering 150 or more.
